Beverly Hewitt

Beverly (Harrington) Hewitt, 91, Green Bay, passed away March 2, 2015, from complications after a fall. Born February 25, 1924, in Escanaba Michigan to the late Joseph and Amanda Harrington. Formerly Town Clerk of Allouez, Mrs. Hewitt also worked for many years at the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs. Active as a long-time Literacy Green Bay volunteer, she was beloved by her Hmong clients, a number of whom who she helped to pass the U.S. Citizenship Test. She was also a member of Mensa and loved doing crossword puzzles.

Mrs. Hewitt is survived by her son James Hewitt of Green Bay and her daughter Patricia Hewitt, Ed.D. (Sarah Siegel) of Montclair, New Jersey.

Beverly Harrington Hewitt was preceded in death by sisters, Eleanor and Jean and parents, Joseph and Amanda Harrington.
