Betty Rybicki, 100, Green Bay, died peacefully at a local hospital on January 4, 2018. Born in Shawano on July 17, 1917, she is the daughter of the late Charles and Helen (O’Grady) Spargo. She married Clem Rybicki, and he preceded her in death on August 25, 1968. Betty was a gardening enthusiast, and she loved animals and spending time with children.
Betty is survived by her loving daughter, Mary Rybicki (partner, Rosa Herrera), Green Bay; one sister, June Burch; two grandchildren, Todd (Lani) and Scott Rybicki; many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and her special friends, Laurie and John.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one son, Chuck Rybicki; one sister, Jean DeGrave; and one brother-in-law, William Burch.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., Monday from 4 – 8 p.m. Parish wake service 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Visitation will continue Tuesday at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at SS. Peter and Paul Church, 710 N. Baird St., with the Rev. Anthony Cirignani, OFM officiating. Burial at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
