Bill “Bucky” Josephs, 73, Suamico, passed away peacefully June 12, 2016, at his home. Born on June 2, 1943, Green Bay, he is the son of the late Hugo and Ethel (Bertrand) Josephs. On November 20, 1965, he married the former Karen Wypiszynski at St. Joseph’s Church in De Pere. Bill worked in management for a variety of local grocery stores throughout his career, and later in dispatch and warehouse refrigeration. Bill cherished hunting and fishing with his sons, watching the Packers and Brewers, taking family camping trips, and hanging out with friends and family. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. Bill will continue drinking his daily Manhattans in heaven.
Bill is survived by four sons, Greg (Connie) Josephs, Green Bay, Brian (Christine) Josephs, Abrams, Andy (Julie) Josephs, Largo, FL, and Matt Josephs, Green Bay; six grandchildren, Casey, Alyssa, Cody, Kayla, Brady, and Maggie; one brother, Don (Dorothy) Josephs; one sister, June Kaye; two sisters-in-law, Sharon Josephs, and Patty Nelson; mother-in-law, Mabel Wypiszynski; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joanne (Bill) Martens, Linda Vercauteren, Mark (Dawn) Wypiszynski, Mary (Bob) Dansereau, Paul (Mindy) Wypiszynski, and Steve (Julie) Wypiszynski; and many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Winston.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dave Josephs; one brother-in-law, Gerry Kaye; father-in-law, Steve Wypiszynski; and one brother-in-law, Dave Wypiszynski.
Visitation at Malcore (West) Funeral Home, 1530 West Mason Street, Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Parish wake service 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will continue Friday at SS. Edward and Isidore, 3667 Flintville Rd, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Dave Hoffman officiating.
