Bill Wendt, Sr.

William "Bill" F. Wendt, Sr. 73, Green Bay, passed away, Friday morning, August 11, 2023, at a local care facility. Born June 5, 1950, in Withee, WI, he is the son of the late Edward and B. Louise (Konechny) Wendt. Bill is a graduate of Menasha High School, Class of '68. Bill was a man of varied talents, working as a maintenence man for years with different counties for their housing authorities and enjoyed his time at Home Depot. He will also be remembered for his woodworking, enjoyment of the outdoors, as a car enthusiast and his tremendous sense of humor. 

Bill is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Eric) Watson; son, Bill (Emily) Wendt; his bonus children, Pam (Jamie) Brownson, Amy Lauko and Paula Popp; grandchildren, Jesse, Justin, Brittany, Ethan, Leah, Madeline, Derek, Danica, Grace and Benjamin; two great-grandchildre; two sisters, Rose Wendt and Mary Wendt; former wife, Verna Wendt; many other relatives and friends; and too many girlfriends and fiancee's to mention. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Damon Wendt; son-in-law, Jason Popp; and brother, Edward Wendt. 

Vistiation at Malcore (West) Funeral Home, 1530 West Mason Street, Tuesday, August 15, 2023, from 4pm until the time of the service. Memorial service, 6pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
