Bonita (Bonnie) J. (Cravillion) Blaney, 89, passed into new life after a short struggle on Saturday, March 1, 2025, with her family at her side. Bonnie was born on April 15, 1935, in New Franken to the late Henry and Helen (Schauer) Cravillion.

Bonnie married George Blaney on May 31, 1958, in New Franken. He preceded her in death on November 15, 1969. In those 11 years they had four children, Sharon (Paul) Zehms, Bob (Darlene) Blaney, Tim Blaney, Brett Blaney; seven grandchildren, Samantha Pagenkopf, Kaeley (Chad) Behnke, George (special friend Rachel Jadin) Blaney, Kaitlin (Jake) Mears, Ben Blaney, Ryan Zehms, Amy Erdman; seven great-grandchildren Scarlett, Hazel, Cayden, Owen, Rylan, Axton, Onni. After Bonnie’s marriage to the love of her life George they started a family in 1959. Her world turned upside down on November 15, 1969, when she became a widow at age 34 with four children after the devastating passing of her husband George due to a tragic vehicle accident. Bonnie was not a quitter, she kept fighting and raised her kids to become exceptional adults. Through the years Bonnie worked many jobs working at the McCormick home, Riverside Ballroom, a crossing guard, and a hostess at Baycare, but making sure she always had enough time to love, support, and raise her kids. She loved bowling, traveling, eating out and playing cards with friends.

Besides her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by a son Joseph, her daughter in-law Lisa Blaney, brothers and sisters in-law Lyle (Lois) Cravillion, Bob (Darlene) Cravillion, Glen (Marge) Cravillion, Jim Cravillion, Sister – Sister Ann Cravillion OSF, Sister in-law Betty Cravillion, sisters and brothers-in law Lou (Jim) Turek, Pat (Jack) Wiesner, Father and Mother in-law George and Ceil Blaney.

A special thanks is extended to the caregivers from Woodside Lutheran Home, Sylvan Crossings (Manitowoc) Edenbrook, and Anna's House. A big thank you to Ashley from Lakeland Care and to a very special friend Kathy Madson.

Bonnie worked for numerous Church picnics and prayed Adoration at SS Peter and Paul for many years but by far, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, living her faith, and attending the many activities and celebrations of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Bonnie lived a life of courage and integrity that served as a model for her family and left them with a wonderful legacy to carry on in their lives.
