Bonnie L. Detiege, 70, Green Bay, found peace, Tuesday morning, Feb. 11, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Born Aug. 26, 1949, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late George and Marie (VerBruggen) Bastien. She married Richard Detiege in Michigan. Together the couple raised two children. Bonnie had worked for many years as a bus driver. She enjoyed engaging in photography of all kinds. Bonnie treasured her “Sisters’ Weekends”. She loved to ride her ‘85 Honda Goldwing Motorcycle and loved to give the grandkids rides in its sidecar. Bonnie will be remembered as a loving and caring mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Richard, Sr.; son, Richard, Jr.; grandchildren, Kacie Detiege and her children, Dylan, Bella, Skyler, and Nova; Tim (Laina) Detiege and their children, Zoey and Huxley; Paige (Brandon) Zimdars and their children, Aiden and Ellarose; and Alex Schultz; siblings, Jeri (Leroy) Beerntsen, Kathy (Steve) Smith, George (Shelly) Bastien, Cindy (Russ) Detiege, Cheryl Schwab, and Wendy (Wally) Ashley; brother-in-law, Pat Doney; sister-in-law, Connie Bastien; many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by parents; one daughter, Georgia Detiege; sister, Mary Doney; and brother, Randy Bastien
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird Street, Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2020, from 12 noon until the time of the memorial service at 1pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Bonnie’s name.
