Christine "Chrissy" VanderMuss

Christine M. VanderMuss, 57, Algoma, formerly of Green Bay, went to her heavenly home on Feb. 14, 2020. Born Dec. 24, 1962, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late Robert and Loretta (Laurent) Keiler. Chrissy was the former owner and operator of West Care Terrace. She married Patrick VanderMuss July 25, 1987 at Saints Peter and Paul Church. After moving to Algoma, she helped operate Heritage Home and owned and operated Tisket a Tasket, Ice Cream Shop. She was an active member of St. Mary’s Church, Algoma and enjoyed teaching the children of the parish. Chrissy was forever proud of her children.

Chrissy is survived by her children, Matthew, Noah and Sarena and their father, Patrick VanderMuss, and his mother, Karen (Lester) Georgia; siblings, Sharon (Pat) Melotte, Stevens Point, Greg “Spike” (Robin) Keiler, Allouez, and Jerry (Pam Fischer) Keiler, Green Bay; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Richard “Dick” Keiler; and one nephew, Corey Melotte

Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird Street Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020, from 4pm until the prayer service at 7pm. Visitation continues Friday, Feb. 21, 2020 at the funeral home from 9am until the time of the funeral. Funeral Mass Friday at Saints Peter and Paul Church at 10:30am with Rev. Anthony V. Cirignani, OFM officiating.
