Clara M. (Cotter) Wilber, 79, Green Bay, died peacefully at a local hospital on July 8, 2016. Born on February 6, 1937, in the Town of Wescott, she is the daughter of the late Louis and Marvel (Knoble) Cotter. On April 13, 1956, she married Martin Wilber, Jr., and together they had six children. Clara cherished raising her family prior to returning to the workforce with Brown County Human Services until her retirement in 2002. Clara shared the loved of sports with her children, especially NASCAR and Packer games. She also enjoyed camping, fishing, puzzles, and contests. Clara will be remembered as a caring and loving person to her family and friends.
Clara is survived by her six children, Michael “Butch” (Annette) Wilber, Debra (Paul) Geniesse, Dennis Wilber, Terri Lealou, Gary (Nancy) Wilber, and Cindy Habeck, all of Green Bay; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and one on the way; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim (Gloria) Cotter, and Michael (Karen) Cotter; brother-in-law, Earl Peterson; sister-in-law and best friend, Donna Cotter; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; several brothers and sisters; and her former spouse, Martin Wilber, Jr.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., Tuesday, July 12th, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial service 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Steve Fewell, Chaplain officiating.
