David A. Sabel, 60, Green Bay, found peace, Monday, July 25, 2016, at a local nursing home. Born Oct. 8, 1955, in Fond du Lac, he is the son of the late Ambrose and Marilyn (Roen) Sabel, Sr. David married Joan Stujenske. He truly enjoyed his job at Aspiro. David loved the outdoors, especially fishing, and cheering for his Packers. Most importantly, family and friends were his pride and joy.
David is survived by his wife, Joan; six children, Scott Sabel, Heather Sabel and her children, Keegan and Keatan Sabel, Erin Jackson and her children, Austin Sabel and Violet Jackson, Amanda Sabel, Nicole Sabel, and Elizabeth Sabel; step-children, Richard, Anthony, and Joanna; siblings, Karen (Jack) Beesley, Ambrose Jr. (Beatrice) Sabel, Hazel (Joe) Marx, Darlene Heffner, Jim Sabel, Dan (Carol) Sabel, Terry (Chris) Sabel, Jerry (Kris) Sabel, Debbie (Tony) Palkovich; special cousin of Joan, Patti Peterson-Bilotto; close friend, Ryan Shaurette; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jean (John) Lochstein, Thomas Stujenske, Patrick Stujenske, Judy (John) Lerch, Randy (Carol) Stujenske, Brian Stujenske; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandchild, Parker Sabel; one brother, Alvin; and brother-in-law, Christopher Stujenske.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird Street, Friday, from 4pm until the time of the funeral. Funeral service 7pm Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Patti Peterson-Bilotto officiating.
