Dennis Wilber

June 24, 1957 — October 3, 2022

Dennis Wilber, 65, of Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly October 3, 2022. Born on June 24, 1957, he is the son of the late Martin and Clara Wilber. Dennis graduated from East High School Class of '75 then went on to serve our country in the United States Navy. In 1981 he married the former Jodie Gehm and together they raised their 2 daughters. He began his career at James River (now Georgia-Pacific) in Nov of 1983 and stayed until his retirement in 2017. Over the years he enjoyed hunting with family, participating in many leagues: bowling, darts, softball and golf, coaching his girls softball teams, camping, fishing, watching the Packers, spending time in Happyville, being the best Papa to his grandkids and always cheering them on in their sports. He was a loyal friend, the kind of guy who literally gave the shirt off his back and always had a great sense of humor.

He is survived by his two daughters, Katie (Casey) Mleziva, Ana (Ryan) Ruf; seven grandchildren, Hailey, Cooper, Jace, Brayden, Mason, Gavin, and Clara; siblings, Butch (Annette) Wilber, Deb (Paul) Geniesse, Terri Lealou, Gary (Nancy) Wilber, Cindy Habeck; former spouse, Jodie as well as his former sister-in-law, Angela and her children; many nieces and nephews.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; former Mother & Father-in-law Shirley & Jack, Brother-in-law Gary and Sister-in-law Cindy.
