Derek Gajeski

Derek Gajeski, 42, Green Bay, passed away September 11, 2023.  Born on December 7, 1980, he is the son of Steve Gajeski and Debbie (Gajeski) Chavez.  He was an avid Wisconsin sports fan cheering on the Packers, Brewers, Badgers, and the Bucks.  Derek loved animals especially dogs.  All of his nieces and nephews adored Derek and he will be deeply missed by them.

He is survived by his father Steve Gajeski; mother, Debbie (Bob) Chavez; brother, Justin Gajeski; grandpa, Alton Georgia; step brother, Brandon (Stef) Chavez; step sister, Nicole (Scott) Chavez; nephew and two nieces, Aspen, Grayson, and Brianna; further survived by many aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. 

Derek was preceded in death by grandma, Nancy Georgia; grandpa, Daniel Gajeski and grandma Mabel Gajeski; grandpa, Kenneth Geurts; grandpa Raul and grandma Celina Chavez.

Visitation at Malcore Funeral Home, 701 N Baird St., Friday September 15, from 4 PM until the time of the prayer service at 7 PM with Sr. Helen Keyser.
