Dianne Elizabeth (Grovogel) Lagers, 70, Green Bay, went peacefully to be with her baby brother, mother, and father on July 5, 2016. Born on July 18, 1945, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late Robert Cleary and Dorothy (Van Beaver) Grovogel. On February 16, 1963, she married the love of her life, John “Eddie” Lagers. Dianne had an extreme passion for her family, home, her dog Rusty, and all of her “critters.” She loved flowers, nature, and times spent in Door County where they summered the last few years following retirement. Dianne was employed by Lindeman’s Cleaners for several years.
Dianne is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, John “Eddie” Lagers; two children, Scott John Lagers, and Tracy (Jorge) Medrano; grandchildren, Justin John (Amber) Medrano, Kieanna Elizabeth Lagers, and Leevi Van Arsdale; one great grandbaby due in August; two sisters, Debra (Richard) Specht, Sharon Champeny; brother, Ron Grovogel; in-laws, Tom and Barb Lagers, and Sherry Grovogel; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her baby brother, William John Grovogel; parents, Lee and Dorothy (Van Beaver) Grovogel.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., Saturday from 9-11 a.m. Memorial service 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
