Donald D. Martin

Donald D. “Don” Martin, 67, Green Bay, died on October 15, 2017. Born on July 14, 1950, he is the son of the late Robert and Pauline (Anderson) Martin. On February 26, 1979, he married the former Deborah Earnest, and she preceded him in death on October 10, 2008. Don is a graduate of Forest Park High School in Crystal Falls, MI and Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. Don worked as a computer programmer at St. Vincent Hospital for most of his career, until his retirement. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, but his greatest passion was his family, especially his beloved grandchildren.

Don is survived by two children and their spouses, Charlie (Michelle) Martin, Freedom, Jeanne (Milos) Sainovic, Garner, NC; six grandchildren, Gavin, Maddy, Sonja, Mila, Ayla, and Harper; one brother, Bob (Skip) Martin; three brothers-in-law, Glen Westin, Mike (Sue) Earnest, and David (Melanie) Earnest; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; one sister, Mary Anne.

Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., Friday from 5 p.m. until the time of the memorial service. Memorial service 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Scott Malme officiating. Malcore Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements, 432-5579.
