Dorothy Mae M. (Moureau) Rusch, 83, wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend passed away peacefully March 22, 2017, to be with our Lord Jesus. Born on November 27, 1933, in Green Bay she is the daughter of the late George and Minnie (Jonet) Moureau. She graduated from East High School with the class of 1952. Dorothy married Robert Rusch on August 18, 1962, in Green Bay. She enjoyed crocheting beautiful afghans, knitting and embroidery. Dorothy was an excellent baker and known for her homemade bread, cookies, and cakes. Most of all she enjoyed her family especially her precious grandchildren. Dorothy loved gardening and filling her yard with flowers up until this last year.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; two children, Lisa (Kendall) Shimanek, and William (Jenny) Rusch both of Green Bay; three grandchildren, Cody Short, Robbie Rusch, and Alexa Shimanek; three step grandchildren, Pauly, Dan, and Frank; two sisters-in-law, Bernie Moureau and Ann Minor; six nieces and six nephews, Judy, Cindy, Bonnie, Janice, Suzanne (Godchild), Carol, Tim, Gary, Ron, Jim, Roger, and Richard; good friends, Carol and Mary.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Edwin and George Jr. Moureau; two nephews, Dan and David.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home 701 N. Baird St. Saturday March 25, from 9 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM. Entombment at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
