Duane Kroening

Duane Kroening, 76, Green Bay, passed away peacefully November 5, 2023.  Born on April 14, 1947, in Shawano, he is the son of the late Louis and Elfrieda (Gast) Mehlhorn.  Graduated from Bonduel High School and Badger Business College.  Duane worked his entire accounting career at Larsen Canning Company which is now Birdseye Foods.  He was a dedicated Wisconsin sports fan and a proud Packer stockholder.

He is survived by his siblings, Ed, Bill (Alison) and sister Kristie (Alan); nieces and nephews, Dean, Scott, Greg, Bob, Kathy, Ann, David, Kadie, and Jeff; aunt, Marilyn Kirchenwitz;  longtime friends, David S., John W., Margo W., and Ed R.; as well as  cousins.

Duane was preceded in death by his parents;  sister, Luann.  

A private family interment will take place at a later date. 

Donations may be made to the Green Bay Humane Society, and the Green Bay Salvation Army in Duane's name.
