Frances Winfree

Frances (Giffin) Winfree, 76, of Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly February 2, 2022. Born on November 30, 1945, she was born in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Clarence and Margaret Giffin and was the oldest of six children. She married George Winfree on July 13, 1968, in Oscoda, Michigan. They had 2 children and later moved to Green Bay to raise their family. Frances was a proud homemaker for many years. She enjoyed traveling, reading novels, and watching old movies and tv shows.

She is survived by her two sons, Brian (Sarah) Winfree of Nashville, TN, Michael (Amber) Winfree of Green Bay, WI; six grandchildren, Marcus (Courtney), Alessandra (Raymond), Kaden, Kiana, Abbey, Evan; great grandchild, Lennox; three sibling Diane Loomis, Doug (Sue) Giffin, Dawn Hissong; and her faithful companion, her dog Coco.

Preceded in death by her husband, George, siblings, Dennis and Donnie.

Visitation at Malcore Funeral Home (West) 1530 W Mason St. Thursday February 10, from 4 PM until the time of the funeral at 7 PM.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
