Gary "Curly" Christensen

Gary “Curly” Christensen, 57, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly, early Wednesday, April 18, 2013 at home. Born August 4, 1955 in Green Bay, he is the son of the late Elton and Dagmar (Johnson) Christensen. Gary is graduate of Green Bay East High School, Class of 1974. He was employed and retired from James River, now known as Georgia Pacific, East Mill. Gary was an avid hunter and fisherman making many excursions to Western United States and Canada. He had proudly achieved many Boone and Crockett records over the years. Gary was well known for his expertly trained hunting dogs.
He is survived by two brothers and a sister-in-law, Richard “Rick” and Debra Christensen and James “Jim” Christensen; two nieces, Rachael and Laura Christensen all of Green Bay; special uncle and aunt, Norman and Ruby Christensen of Cecil; many other relatives and friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Karen.
Visitation at MALCORE (WEST) Funeral Home, 1530 West Mason Street, Sunday, April 21, from 4-8pm and Monday morning, April 22, from 10am until the time of the funeral. Funeral service 11am Monday, April 22, at the funeral home. Entombment in Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
