Gary J. Laurent

Gary J. Laurent, 70, Green Bay, went to join Janice, his wife, in heaven on Monday afternoon, August 19, 2024, where they will celebrate their 48th Wedding Anniversary together. Born June 9, 1954, in Green Bay, he is the son of the late John and Bernadine (Puyleart) Laurent. Gary married the former Janice Johnson on August 21, 1976, at Saints Peter and Paul Church and she preceded him in death on December 3, 2014. He will be remembered for his enjoyment of golf with his grandsons, including his famous hole in one. Gary also enjoyed playing cards with family. But his greatest joy and love was spending time with family; his wife, daughter, grandsons, and great-granddaughters. 

Gary is survived by one daughter, Shawn (Rick) La Combe; three grandsons, Justin (Laura) Johnson, Jordan (Sarah) La Combe and Colin La Combe; three great-granddaughters, Sienna, Elaina and Marissa; three sisters, Betty Powers, Rosie (Howard) Stein and Marilyn (Ted) Schott; sister-in-law, Jeanne (Dick) Diedrich; brother-in-law, Gary (Diane) Johnson; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife of 38 years, Janice.

Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird Street, Saturday, Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 11:30am until the time of the funeral. Memorial Mass, 1:30pm Saturday at Saints Peter and Paul Church. Entombment in Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
