Gerald (Jerry) M. Groose

Gerald (Jerry) Groose, 75, New Franken, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at a local hospital. He was born March 14, 1949 in Green Bay, son of the late Fred and Beulah (Diedrich) Groose. On January 6, 1970, he married Peggy Pierquet at St. Mary of the Angels Church. Jerry served in the US Army as an MP in Germany. He worked over 40 years at Georgia Pacific. Jerry liked old cars and vintage racing, old movies, and fishing. He loved his family dearly. 

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Peggy; children: Jennifer (Scott) Graham, Nick (Vicki) Groose; grandchildren: Anthony Graham (special friend Amanda Dumas and her son, Greyson), and Katie Graham; great-grandsons, Ryder and Ruxyn Graham; brother Tim (Janet) Groose; and sisters: Debi (Dave) Steivo, and Cathy (Bob) Joslin.

Family and friends may visit Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Military honors will be at 7 p.m. Special thank you to the staff at Aurora BayCare Medical Center and hospice for their excellent care and compassion.
