Gerald "Jerry" L. Tease, 95, was born on the north side of Green Bay to Louis and Anna Tease. He was the 11th of their 13 children. Jerry joined the United States Navy during WWII, serving abroad the USS Kaskaskia. After the war he began work at Northern Paper Mill, where he worked until his retirement in 1989.
In 1954 he married Dorothy Lee and they had 4 children. After Dorothy's untimely passing, Jerry married Elizabeth "Betty" Borchardt in 1970, and together they had a daughter. He enjoyed playing cards, hunting and fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Jerry and Betty loved to travel and he would tell anyone who would listen about his favorite trip which was Alaska. He also loved spending time at his cottage in Athelstane, where he and Betty lived for many years after his retirement.
Survivors include his sons Dale and Brian (Cath), daughters Anna (Andy Wall), and Debi (Matt Finendale), his grandsons Jon and Thomas Finendale, Colby Wall, and Jason and Tyler Pape, and many nieces and nephews.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, all of his siblings and their spouses, his first wife Dorothy, oldest son Mark, and second wife Betty.
Visitation at Malcore Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St. Wednesday July 27, from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12 PM (noon). Followed by Military Honors and burial at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
