Glen Chapin, 70, Pulaski, died peacefully at his home on April 12, 2013, with his wife, brother, sister, and other friends by his side. Born on September 29, 1942, in Oshkosh, he is the son of the late Leo and Naomi (Case) Chapin. On June 16, 1979, he married Gina Kaye in Green Bay. Glen received an Associate degree in business management from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, where he met his wife. He worked for most of his career at Bergstrom Automotive as a mechanic. Glen enjoyed playing instruments in his younger years, and his passion for music carried on throughout his life. He and Gina took pleasure in taking trips throughout the Midwest. His favorite activity was spending time with friends and family. Glen was also a shepherding member of Kingdom Hall Congregation-North, Green Bay.
Glen is survived by his loving wife, Gina; one son, Wesley (Tiffany), Woodville, WI; one daughter, Renae (Jeff) Hansen, Gillett; six grandchildren, Gabrielle Chapin, Talissa Chapin, Westen Chapin, David Hansen, Katie (Ben) Baeten, and Jonathan Hansen; one great grandchild, Hadassah Baeten; nine siblings, Judy (Jerry) Christenson, Sandy Grandaw, both of Sun City, AZ, Rusty (Doty) Chapin, Suamico, Ruth (Stanley) Reed, Gillett, Ann Schwab, Canada, Chuck (Laurie) Chapin, Oconto Falls, Mike (Alice) Chapin, Abrams, Larry Chapin, Suring, and Lorraine (Joe) Meisbauer, Shawano; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, William and Marie Kaye; and many aunts and uncles.
Visitation at Kingdom Hall, 3065 West Mason St., Saturday, April 20, 2013, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m., with Mike Garsow officiating. Following the service there will be a gathering at the Oneida Parish Hall, 2936 Freedom Rd, Oneida. MALCORE (West) Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family, 499-4100.
