No sugar coating it folks. Grant struggled with addiction pretty much all of his adult life and succumbed to the disease on that morning we will all have engrained in our minds. Addiction does not discriminate. Heroin is a demon that affects the way your brain processes pleasure, taking over not just your brain but your life, destroying families and friendships. Although we are shocked and saddened by this, we have smiles in our hearts knowing that through it all he gave his life to Jesus, Therefore guaranteeing him a spot alongside his heavenly father.
Born to Alex and Terrilynn in Green Bay. He graduated from Sheboygan North and was presently enrolled to start classes at NWTC in Sustainable Energy. He was employed at ACE Baking and made quite the positive impact on his coworkers.
Grant had this ability to make anyone smile. His laugh was contagious. His greatest attribute was his manners and respect for others. He would do just about anything to help someone in need. There truly was this childlike love without expectations that he carried with him. He loved sports from young on and excelled at Football, Soccer, and Track and Field.
Grant is survived by the love of his life. Jackson James Klitzka was his world. He wanted nothing more than to beat addiction and to be the best dad possible. His love and cheerleading were nonstop whenever his name was spoken. Do you want to be good or great would be the question? Good is going through the motions and getting by on your God given talent. Great is putting in the extra time practicing while others are sitting on the couch playing video games. Here’s to Grant having the most amazing view watching and cheering from the skybox in heaven.
