Guillermina Castillo, of Green Bay, WI, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, after battling cancer for a short period of time. She was 52.
Guillermina was born on June 25, 1966, to Martin Castillo and Esperanza Gallegos in Mexico. The first child of eight, she came to Wisconsin in the late 90’s. She dedicated the first few years to raising her children and later on entered the general labor field.
Guillermina loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors with her significant other David Rouse.
Guillermina is survived by her 7 children, Saul, Gaby, Angelica, Dora, Sergio, Eladio and Eduardo. She will be missed dearly by her 14 grandchildren, siblings and everyone she cared for.
She will be remembered as a loving mother and friend to all the ones she touched.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St, Green Bay, on Monday, September 17, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. A Prayer Service will follow at 7 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at St. Willebrord Parish, 209 S. Adams St, Green Bay with Fr. John P. McCarthy, O. Praem officiating.
