Hazel DeKeyser, 105, of Green Bay, passed away February 25, 2023. Born on November 1, 1917, in the town of Red River, she is the daughter of the late Eli and Mary Delaruelle. She married Lawrence DeKeyser on May 22, 1943, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church and he preceded her in death in 1991. Hazel was a long time member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, a member of the Altar Society, and a member of the National Catholic Order of Foresters. She enjoyed rug weaving, baking Belgian pies, quilting, sewing, crocheting, and fishing at the cottage.
She is survived by her sons, Larry (Susan) DeKeyser Jr. and Darrel (Judy Ann) DeKeyser; five grandchildren, Dawn (Geoff Warner) DeKeyser, Dana (Scott) Malcore, Duane (Julie) DeKeyser Darin (Dana) DeKeyser, and Dean (Danielle) DeKeyser; eight great grandchildren, Weston (Melissa), Haley (David), Nathan, Laurel, Allie (Luke), Alyssa, Grace, and Olivia; great great grandchild, Brooks; sister-in-law, Beulah Delaruelle.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence; four brothers and four sisters.
Visitation at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic, 710 N. Baird St. Friday March 3, from 10 AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM. Entombment at Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.
