Ida Mae De Bauche, 87, passed away peacefully at Alpha Senior Concepts in Howard on Tuesday morning, March 12, 2025. The daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Cumber) Simon was born in Green Bay on May 20, 1937. Ida Mae married Leland De Bauche on October 15, 1955, at Saints Peter and Paul Church. Ida Mae was employed by Saints Peter and Paul Church as a cleaning lady in both the church and rectory for 15+ years while her kids were in school. She was also a member of the church and, for many years, served as a communion minister and sometime reader. Ida Mae enjoyed watching cooking shows, reading, shopping, baking, and travel. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Survivors include her daughters, Bridget (and Marty) Chapman of Quartzsite, Arizona, Denise (and Brian) Turner of Campbell, California; two grandsons, Orion Roberts and Zed Roberts, California; one sister, Rosemary Wochenske, Hobart, Wisconsin; further survived by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Rose Simon; husband, Leland De Bauche; brothers Joseph, Donald, Kenneth, Richard, and Gerald Simon; grandson Nathan De Bauche; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Gathering of family and friends at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird Street, Monday, March 17, from 4:00PM to 7:00PM. The funeral will be held onTuesday, March 18, 2025, at Saints Peter and Paul Church, 720 N. Baird Street. Visitation from 10:00 to 11:00AM; mass at Saints Peter and Paul Church at 11:00AM.
