James "Jim" Borowitz, 77, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully September 1, 2022. Born on April 5, 1945, in Green Bay he is the son of the late John and Clara Borowitz. He graduated high school and then went on to serve our country in the United States Navy. He loved fishing, fast pitch soft ball, basketball, Packer parking, cheering for the Brewers and the Packers, bowling, gardening, and singing with his brother. Jim was known for his sense of humor and quick wit.
James is survived by his two children Jesse (Kathy) Borowitz and Julie (Jeremy) Bunn; three step children, Rick (Kris) Lardinois, Lori (Joe) Van Eyck, and Becky (Mike) Gass; step-children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren; sister, Gloria (Bob) Jessogne; sister in law, Rose Borowitz; two sisters in law, Lynda (Mike "Henderson") Petersen and Debbie (Jake) Kriescher; two brothers-in-law, Al (Carol) Gorzlancyk and Scott ( Lynn) Gorzlancyk; and his faithful companion, Abby; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Julie; brother, John "Bruz" Borowitz; nephew, Chad Borowitz.
Visitation at Malcore Funeral Home 701 N Baird St, Saturday September 10 from 4 PM until the time of the service at 7 PM. Jim will be laid to rest at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
