Joan DeVillers, 90, of Green Bay, passed away May 10, 2021. Born on February 12, 1931, in Gardener, WI, she is the daughter of the late Frederick and Eliza (Corbisier) DeVillers. Joan was a graduate of East High School class of 1949. She married Robert Schilling on June 29, 1949, in Leavenworth, KS. She had a number of jobs throughout her life including Edee’s Fashion, Ann’s Tropical Fish, and Porlier Market. She enjoyed flowers, sewing, and was an animal lover-especially dogs, cats and birds.
She is survived by her four children, Patti Schilling of Oshkosh, Craig Schilling of Pensacola, FL, Cheryl (Joe) Lacenski of Plover, WI, and Steven (Cindy) Schilling of Pueblo West CO; seven grandchildren, Ben, Tara, Michelle, Christopher, Betsy, Peter, and David; nine great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren; sister in law, Kathy DeVillers; and numerous nieces and nephews. Joan was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gerald (Patricia) DeVillers and Lyle (Janice) DeVillers; sister, Jean (Edward) Turnesky.
A memorial service for Joan will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Malcore Funeral Homes-East. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
