Joey Pivonka, 55, New Franken, entered eternal life December 15, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Born on August 23, 1963, he is the son of the late Clifford and Leona (Schott) Pivonka. His special joys were music, dancing, bowling, movies, Special Olympics, and the Packers. He touched many lives and taught us the importance of enjoying life's simple pleasures. He attended Jefferson School and worked at Aspiro for thirty four years. He loved his biological family, his Compass Development family with whom he resided with the past seven years and also the staff and his friends at Aspiro.
He is survived by his two siblings, James (Maureen) Pivonka, and Joan (Gary) Daniels; his nephew, Jason (Jody) Daniels and their children: Cole and Jordyn; as well as his niece and dedicated caregiver Jennie Quinn and her son, Kenden; and nieces, Stephanie and Michelle Pivonka.
Joey was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John.
Visitation at St Kilian Church, 2508 Saint Kilian Road, Wednesday, December 19, from 9 AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM.
