John Richard Patterson

Mr. John Patterson died on Saturday July 15, 2023 at St. Mary's Hospital under Unity Hospice care after a short illness. He was born July 3, 1948 to the late Dorward Patterson and Lorraine (Patterson) Gast. He graduated from East High in 1967 and worked at Straubel Paper Co and then became a long time employee at St. Vincent Hospital. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral Parish and ushered there for many years. He also was a member of the Green Bay Retired Men's Club and enjoyed riding his moped with several of the club members on Thursday's, weather permitting. In his younger days he enjoyed traveling throughout the United States.

 

John is survived by his brother Larry Patterson, Green Bay and a niece and spouse Kimberly (Travis) Schuettpelz, Tampa FL, and a nephew and spouse Joel (Julie) Patterson and their children Kyle and Alexis, Shawano, WI, Also a stepsister  and spouse Tina (Tony) Mura from Green Bay. 

 

Visitation at Malcore Funeral Home on West Mason in Green Bay, WI, on Saturday July 29^th from Noon utill 2:00 PM with service to follow.

 

In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Brown County Public Library.
