Joseph Marcello Mendolla, age 73, entered Eternal Life on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born March 24, 1945 in Green Bay to the late Estanislao and Bernabe Mendolla. He was a loving father who was always there for his family. Joseph was a man of many talents who built two homes on his own. He loved the outdoors and all that came with it: hunting, fishing and boating. He enjoyed peaceful times at the cottage with his family. He loved spending quality time with his family and will be deeply missed. Joseph worked at O & E Machine for 30 years. Joseph is now reunited with his wife, Diane.
Joseph is survived by his 6 children: Darla Mendolla, Karen (Paul DeGrave Sr.) Mendolla, Doree Mendolla, Joseph P. (Karla) Mendolla, Annette (Lea) Mendolla, and Anita Mendolla; 10 grandchildren: Eric, Tanya, Joshua, Shauna, Paul Jr., Perry, Pierce, Bronson, Tyler and Olivia; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings: Mike (Barb) Mendolla, Visenta Orta, Stan (Betty) Mendolla, Mary (Dave) DeGroot, Pedro Mendolla, Paul Mendolla and Marie (Chuck) Howes; sister-in-law, Josie Mendolla; other relatives and friends.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 26 years, Diane; brother, Frank Mendolla.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Nicolet Memorial Gardens, Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, 2770 Bay Settlement Rd, Green Bay, on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 12 Noon to 2:30 p.m. A Prayer Service will follow at 2:30 p.m. Joseph will be laid to rest at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
