Joyce A. Delvaux

Joyce A. Delvaux, 83, Green Bay, passed away Sunday evening, March 12, 2023, at a local care facility. Born August 28, 1939, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late Henry and Mabel (Conard) Strebel. She was a graduate of East High School, Class of 1957.  Joyce married Russell J. Delvaux on October 5, 1963, at Holy Cross Church, Bay Settlement, and he preceded her in death on November 21, 2012. Both Joyce and Russell were charter members of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton  Church. She was a long-time bookkeeper for the Sisters of our Lady of Charity. She was a volunteer at St. Vincent Hospital, St. Vincent de Paul, her church and enjoyed helping others. Joyce was a proud member of the Belgian American Club. She will be remembered for her enjoyment of gardening, cooking  and baking but most importantly she loved her roles as wife, mother and grandmother.

Joyce is survived by two children, Michael (fiancee' Karen Reimer) Delvaux of De Pere and Leanne Welker of Green Bay; six grandchildren, Kalyn, Ryan and Zoie Delvaux and Carolyn, Lauren and Allison Welker; brothers, Kenneth (Marge) Strebel and Norman (Barb) Strebel, all of New Franken; sister-in-law, Sr. Renee Delvaux; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 49 years, Russell; son-in-law, Ken Welker.

Visitation at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 2771 Oakwood Drive, Green Bay, Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 9am until the time of the funeral. Funeral Mass 12noon at the church. Entombment in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.

Joyce's family extends a special thank you to the staffs of Rennes Health and Rehab Center-De Pere and Unity Hospice.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established.
