Joyce A. Hendricks

Joyce A. Hendricks, 80, Green Bay, formerly of Kenosha, passed away Tuesday morning, November 14, 2023, at a local nursing home while surrounded by her loving family. Born May 19, 1943, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of Gordon and Celia (Delwiche) Hendricks. Following a brief time at the convent, she became an LPN and worked at Kenosha Memorial Hospital where she developed a life long friendship with Gloria Thomas. Together with Gloria, Joyce enjoyed traveling along with numerous nieces and nephews throughout the continental United States and Europe.  Joyce retired in 2005 following a 40 plus year career. She returned to Green Bay to be near her family. Throughout her life she maintained a special relationship with her twin sister, Janice. Upon her return to Green Bay, the two relished time with family, doing the things they both enjoyed, including traveling, watching the Packers, playing games and gambling. 

Joyce is survived by six siblings JoAnn (Bob) Breister, Karen (Lee) Bournoville, Jackie Van Pay, Janice Swoboda, Kenneth (Janet) Hendricks and David (Patti) Hendricks; sister-in-law Theresa Hendricks; numerous nieces and nephews who were very much just like her own children; many cousins, other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers William (Ginger) Hendricks and Gerald (Connie) Hendricks; brothers-in-law James Van Pay and Lary Swoboda.

Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird Street, Wednesday, November 22, 2023, from 9am until the time of the service. Memorial service 11am at the funeral home. Burial in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
