Juliana “Julie” Lindergren-Destree, 63, Green Bay, passed away on February 21, 2017, with our cat, Tommy, by her side. Born on November 21, 1953, in Rhinelander, she is the daughter of the late Erik and Ida (Weber) Lindergren. On October 5, 2002, she married Richard “Dick” Destree at Grace Lutheran Church. Julie worked as a wraparound supervisor at Curative Rehabilitation Center, where she worked for over 20 years.
Julie is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Dick; one step-daughter, Sarah Destree; three siblings, Elsie Blomquist, Carl Lindergren, and Pat Sparks; one brother-in-law, Wally Williams; two nieces, Heather (Jesse) Peterson, and Sherry Nickels; two nephews, Erik (Vivian) Hoffman, and Jim Sparks; and our beloved cat, Tommy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Raeburn Williams; one brother-in-law, Allen Blomquist.
Visitation in the parlor at Grace Lutheran Church, 321 South Madison Street, Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral. Funeral service 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the church with the Rev.
