Linda L. Barebo

Linda L. Barebo, 76, Green Bay, passed away Monday afternoon, July 22, 2024, at a local hospital. Born January 5, 1948, in St. Louis, MO, she is the daughter of the late William and Ola (Gaither) Chocinski. Linda was a hard worker and held various jobs over the years, including factory work, in restaurants and she enjoyed working as a bagger in a grocery store. She had married John Silvus who preceded her in death. Linda then married James Barebo who also preceded her in death. She eventually moved to Green Bay to be near her family, especially her grandchildren. Linda will be remembered for her enjoyment of singing Karaoke, shooting pool, and loved spending time with her cat, Harry. 

Linda is survived by her children, Janie Chocinski, Jamie Barebo, Theresa Leonard, and Calvin Fisher; grandchildren, Lynn (Geofery) LaCrosse, Danielle (Thomas) McGee; great-grandchildren, Ari, Jayce, Haizley, Katelin and Ashlee; further survived by other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husbands, John and James.

Celebration of Life for Linda to be held at Manna for Life, 1545 University Ave. Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 1:00pm. 

Linda's family extends a special thank you to the caring staff of the 4th Floor of Bellin Hospital and Unity Hospice.
