Linda Holmes

Linda Holmes, 73 New Franken, passed away July 9, 2023. Born February 13, 1950, She was the daughter of Norbert DeGreef and Gloria Lindow. Linda graduated from East High School. She married her high school sweetheart Carl Holmes on July 6, 1968, at St. Mary’s of the Angels Catholic Church in Green Bay  and just celebrated their 55 year anniversary.  She enjoyed camping with her friends at Cedar Valley Campgrounds of Kewaunee. She loved cheering on her Green Bay Packers and talking about her grandchildren. Linda was a member of the Kewaunee Lions Club. She was an avid crochet enthusiast and donated much of her work to the local hospitals. She also enjoyed her trips to Florida.

She is survived by her husband Carl Holmes and children, Dan (Tammy) Holmes, Sean Holmes, Jami (Jamie) Veeser, Michelle (Jack) Rugg. And her nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Linda was preceded in death her siblings Kathy and Pete Tenor, Robert (Bob) Degreef, Sherry and Jay Duffek.

Visitation at Malcore Funeral Home 701 N Baird St, Saturday July 15 from 12 PM until the time of the service at 4 PM.
