Linda L. Mielke

Linda L. Mielke, 77, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly at home , on Friday, November 15, 2024. Born on January 20, 1947, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late Donald and Catherine (Bardouche) Mielke. Linda is a graduate of East High School. Linda was employed with A.C.Nielsen for many years. She appreciated the fact that she was given the opportunity to travel to other countries as part of her job, prior to retiring as a manager. She was a woman of many hobbies, she enjoyed canning, making candy, and an occasional trip to the local casinos. She and her mom, loved cooking and gathered all of her family's favorite recipes into two cookbooks for the family to use. She also enjoyed collecting Packer memorabilia, especially from the recent Super Bowls. Linda enjoyed the many animals she kept at home, including a Koi pond and also would feed the outdoor wildlife that happened by. Linda was always willing to help out her family by driving all the kids around and looking after them when others asked. Most of all she loved the times spent with family. 

Linda is survived by her brothers, Brian and Keith (Diane) Mielke; sister, Ann (Greg) Wied; many nieces and nephews and their children; further survived by many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Karen and Christine; brothers, Donald and Rodney.

Visitation at Malcore Funeral Home 701 N. Baird St., Friday, November 22, 2024, from 9 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM with the burial following at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
