Lois DuChateau, 93, of Green Bay, passed away June 13, 2022. Born on April 30, 1929, she is the daughter of the late Maurice and Louise Nelson. After graduating Bellin's nurses training in 1951 she married Richard DuChateau on February 10, 1951, at First United Methodist in Wausau and he preceded her in death in 1981. Lois was a longtime Registered Nurse at St Vincent Hospital. She was a member of Wequiock Presbyterian Presbyterian Church serving as Elder, Deacon, Financial Secretary, and past secretary and President of Ladies Aid. Lois spent much of her retirement years volunteering at United Way, Red Cross, and Salvation Army.
She enjoyed seeing the world as a world traveler, traveling to China, Russia, Egypt, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Australia, New Zealand, Greece, Ireland, and more.
She is survived by her daughter Rochelle DuChateau.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; two children Richard, Jr., and Roxanne.
Visitation at Malcore Funeral Home 701 N Baird St., Thursday, June 16 from 12 PM (Noon) to 2 PM with a service at 2 PM.
