Lori Block

Lori Block, 73, Green Bay, died peacefully, Friday, March 1, 2013, at the Jack and Engrid Meng Residence, following her battle with cancer. She was born in Wausau, March 13, 1939, to the late Franklin and Alvina (Augustine) Moellendorf. Lori married Ernest Block, in Green Bay on September 9, 1972. Lori served as a delegate to Baha'i National Conventions; as a member of a number of Baha'i Local Spiritual Assemblies; an Assistant to Baha'i Auxiliary Board members; long time member of the Green Lake Baha'i Conference Planning Committee; and represented the Baha'i Faith on the Brown County Board of Clergy for many years. She was the art director at Wemple Advertising agency for many years and oversaw the production/layout of the Green Bay Packer Yearbook. Lori is survived by her husband, Ernest of Green Bay; their son and daughter-in-law, Jamal and Lisa Block of Tampa; 2 grandchildren, Aiden and Alex; she is further survived by many friends and family.
