Mamie Volletz

Mamie Volletz, 59, Green Bay, passed away at home, Thursday, September 19, 2024, surrounded by the love of family and friends. Born May 20, 1965, she was the daughter of the late John and Jean Volletz. Mamie attended Preble High School and University of Wisconsin at Madison. Mamie was a Clinique consultant in Chicago and Green Bay for over 30 years.

Mamie will be remembered for her enjoyment of reading, music and travel, including Brazil, Scotland, England, France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, India, Costa Rica, Austria, Hungary, Canada and throughout the United States; but friends and family were the true joy of her life.

Mamie is survived by her three sisters, Diane (Larry Abbott) Volletz, Linda (Edward) VanBeek, and Betsy (Alex Zacarias) Volletz-Zacarias; nieces and nephews; Katherine (Eric) Premo, Victoria Zacarias, Carolina Zacarias, Marco (Sierra) Zacarias; grand-niece and nephew, Lola and Walter Premo; life-long friends, Lisa Bertrand and Marcia McLain; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Patrick VanBeek.

The family extends a special thank you to the Bellin Cancer Team and Unity Hospice for their support.

Gathering of Mamie's friends and family will take place at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird Street, Friday, September 27, 2024 from 4:00 - 7:00pm. A celebration of Mamie's Life will be held at 7:00pm.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Door County Land Trust in memory of Mamie.
