Maria Martha Torres Secada

Maria Martha Torres Secada, 81, of Green Bay, passed away April 1, 2025. Born on August 18, 1943, in Guadalajara, Mexico, she is the daughter of the late Ana Maria Secada and Luis Torres Cafuentes. Maria was a devout catholic and loved not only reciting the rosary but teaching her grandchildren the rosary. She also enjoyed cooking for her family, going on picnics, and having the whole family over to her home.

She is survived by her husband, Hector; four children, Ana Rosa Silva and her children, Christopher, Kimberly, and Hector, Cesar (Reina) Silva and their children, Chelsea, Chantelle, and Derek, Oscar (Jenny) Silva and their children, Donovan, Shane,Litzi, and Bryant, Arnold (Jessica) Silva and their children, Juan Fernando, Nathan, and Stephanie; great grandchildren, Annie, Dominic, Mariana, Dorian, Alexis, Anna, and Ailyne; Siblings, Fernando Torres, German Torres, Jose De Jesus Torres, Sofia Torres.

Maria was preceded in death by her parents; one child, Martha Susanna Silva; brother, Arturo Torres.

Visitation at Malcore Funeral Home, 701 N Baird St., Monday April 7 from 4 PM until 8 PM. Visitation will continue Tuesday at the funeral home from 10 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 AM at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Jose Lopez officiating.

The family would like to extend a special thank you the staff St. Vincent Hospital and Unity Hospice. Also, a special thank you to Fr Jose Lopez.

Nacida el 18 de agosto de 1943 en Guadalajara, México, es hija de los difuntos Ana María Secada y Luis Torres Cafuentes. María era una católica devota y le encantaba no solo rezar el rosario, sino también enseñarlo a sus nietos. También disfrutaba cocinar para su familia, hacer picnics y recibir a toda la familia en su casa.

Le sobreviven su esposo, Héctor; cuatro hijos: Ana Rosa Silva y sus hijos: Christopher, Kimberly y Héctor; César (Reina) Silva y sus hijos: Chelsea, Chantelle y Derek; Oscar (Jenny) Silva y sus hijos: Donovan, Shane, Litzi y Bryant; Arnold (Jessica) Silva y sus hijos: Juan Fernando, Nathan y Stephanie; y sus bisnietos: Annie, Dominic, Mariana, Dorian, Alexis, Anna y Ailyne. Hermanos: Fernando Torres, Germán Torres, José De Jesús Torres y Sofía Torres.

A María le precedieron en la muerte sus padres: una hija, Martha Susanna Silva; y un hermano, Arturo Torres.

El velatorio se realizará en la Funeraria Malcore, 701 N Baird St., el lunes 7 de abril de 16:00 a 20:00 h. El velatorio continuará el martes en la funeraria desde las 10:00 h hasta la misa funeral a las 11:00 h en la Iglesia Católica de San Pedro y San Pablo, oficiada por el Reverendo José López.
