Marvin J. Monfils

Marvin J. Monfils, 82, Green Bay, found peace Monday evening, March 18, 2013, at a local hospital. Born September 29, 1930, in the Town of Union, he is the son of the late Emil and Louise (Parins) Monfils. Marvin married Carol Reignier and she preceded him in death. He married Maxine Jean (Hermes) Beaupre. Marvin was employed and retired from Proctor and Gamble. He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors, including hunting and fishing, and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine Jean; six children and spouses, Linda Monfils of Florida, Sandy and Tom Fritschler, Debra and David Olejniczak, Catherine Beaupre, Jennifer Beaupre all of Green Bay, and James and Stephanie Beaupre of Luxemburg; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Wilmer Monfils of Green Bay; three sisters-in-law, Mildred Monfils of Sturgeon Bay, Viola Monfils of Namur and Margaret Monfils of Brussels; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Also preceded in death by three daughters, Cindy Monfils, Jacqueline Eichhorst, and JoAnne Beaupre; five brothers, Lawrence, Sylvester, Gerard, Walter, and Clarence Monfils; and one sister, Marilyn Monfils.

Visitation at MALCORE (East) Funeral Home, University Avenue at Baird Street, Friday, March 22, 2013, from 4-7pm. Parish wake service 7pm Friday, March 22, 2013, at the funeral home with Pastoral Leader, Pat Ratajczak officiating. Visitation continues Saturday, March 23, 2013, at St. Louis Church, Dyckesville from 10am until the time of the funeral. Funeral Mass, 11am Saturday, March 23, 2013, at the church with Rev. John H. Van Deuren officiating. Burial in St Louis Catholic Cemetery.
