Mary Ann Ducat

Mary Ann Ducat, 69, New Franken, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023, at her home. She was born October 27, 1953, daughter to the late Ted and Millie (Jonet) Ducat. Mary Ann graduated from Luxemburg-Casco High School in 1971. She started her career at A.C. Nielsen. Then, she was co-owner of LeRoy Feed Mill for many years, followed by employment with Schneider National.

Mary Ann enjoyed traveling, music concerts and shows, and playing cards with her friends. She loved knitting and made baby afghans gifting them to the baptized at St. Joseph Church as part of the church ministry team. She was also a member of the church social committee and helped with the church picnic.

She is survived by her son, Chris (Candee) Hendricks; three grandchildren, Ashley, Aiden and Austin; siblings, Dave Ducat, Dan (Mary) Ducat and Karen (Pat) Hucek; five nieces and one nephew.

Family and friends may visit St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Champion on Thursday, January 26 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday from 9 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11 a.m. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
