Mildred “Millie” Rose Daul, 87, De Pere, died peacefully on November 21, 2013, at Wyndemere Estates, with family by her side. Born on November 18, 1926, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth (Jacobs) Malliet. On November 17, 1948, she married Vernon Daul, and he preceded her in death on June 27, 2009. Millie worked at Thomas Drug Store for 32 years, where she enjoyed interacting with many families throughout the years. She adored little children and dogs, especially Burton the bulldog. Millie also liked chocolate and flowers. Her husband was frequently working on Model A cars, and she could be found in the garage handing him tools.
Millie is survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, nine siblings, and her parents.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, University Ave. at Baird St., Monday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Monday at Saints Peter and Paul Church, 710 N. Baird St., with the Rev. Anthony Cirignani, OFM officiating. Entombment in Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
