Murlin LaLuzerne, 89, Green Bay, passed away July 2, 2023. Born on September 21, 1933, he is the son of the late Wilfred and Ella LaLuzerne. Murlin graduated from Brussels High School. He married his best friend, the former Patricia Collin on October 5, 1955, at St. Louis Church in Dyckesville and she preceded him in death on April 28, 2020. Murlin served our country in the United States Army from 1955-1957. He worked at the Green Bay Fire Department from 1962 until 1989.
In his younger years Murlin enjoyed his times up north, hunting, and gardening. Most of all he enjoyed times spent with family.
He is survived by his five children and their spouses, Rebecca LaLuzerne (Dave Pagel), of Howard, Michael (Sue) LaLuzerne, David (Patti) LaLuzerne, Lisa LaLuzerne, all of Green Bay, and Randall (Sue) LaLuzerne, of Athelstane; 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Lyle LaLuzerne and Lew (Ruth) LaLuzerne.
Murlin was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia; siblings, Char Borisoff, and Glenn LaLuzerne; sister in law, Donna LaLuzerne, Mae (Norbert) Collin.
Visitation at Malcore Funeral Home 701 N. Baird St., Sunday July 9, from 4 PM until 8 PM with a 7 PM prayer service. Visitation will continue at St Francis Xavier Cathedral 139 S. Madison St, Monday from 10 AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM
