Penny Davis, 53, Green Bay, died peacefully at a local hospice facility on August 22, 2017. Born on November 24, 1963, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of Bonnie (De Baker) and the late Harry Vanden Plas. Penny is a graduate of Green Bay Southwest High School. Penny worked as the manager of Anne’s Pets for many years, and also worked for Wal-Mart in various roles until her illness progressed. She collected records and dolls, and cherished times spent with friends and family. Penny was extremely caring and generous, and her loving soul touched many lives.
Penny is survived by three children, Cory Schoultz, Devon Davis, both of Green Bay, and Tyler Davis, Vancouver, WA; five siblings, Paul (Jill) Vanden Plas, Mark (Debbie) Vanden Plas, Randy (Dixie) Vanden Plas, Kelly (Tabbi) Vanden Plas, and Terry (Kelly) Vanden Plas; her mother; one sister-in-law, Jean Vanden Plas; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Tim; and her father.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., Tuesday from 3 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial service 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Most Rev. Robert Morneau officiating.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home.
