Phyllis Y. (Moureau) Pagel

Phyllis Y. (Moureau) Pagel, 89, Green Bay, passed away Friday, December 20, 2024, after a long illness. Phyllis was born July 31, 1935, to the late Jule and Dora Moureau in Walhain, WI. Soon after graduating from high school, Phyllis moved to Milwaukee where she worked and remained until her retirement in 1998. It was in Milwaukee where she met the love of her life, Gerald Pagel. They married on June 8, 1974, at Old St. Joe's parish on the St. Norbert College campus. Jerry preceded Phyllis in death on September 14, 2016. 

Phyllis is survived by her siblings, Martha Neuser, Allen Moureau, Carol Diaz, and Wayne (Janice) Moureau. 

In addition to her loving husband and parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her siblings: Lucille (William) Hoell, Verna (Calvin) Collins, Herman (Jean) Moureau, Ruth (Arnold) Cornette, Arthur (Sharon) Moureau, and Raymond (Rosemary) Moureau; and siblings-in-law: Donald Neuser, JoAnn Moureau and Gil Diaz.

To honor her wishes, there will be no formal services. Entombment will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park in Milwaukee. Malcore (West) Funeral Home is assisting the family, 920-499-4100. 

Phyllis wished to express her sincere love, thanks and appreciation to Carol Diaz for all her help and support the past few years. Additional thanks to the staff at Aurora 3rd floor ICU for their care, compassion, and support of Phyllis.
