Regina Harper Whittaker, 75, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly, July 27, 2022, at a local hospital. Born September 4, 1946, in Gray, Maine, she is the daughter of the late Frank William and Lillias Georgia (Moore) Harper, Jr. The family re-located to Southern California where she spent her formative years. Regina married the love of her life, James Whittaker, on June 19, 1971, in Claremont, CA. The family eventually settled in Wisconsin due to Jim's employment with the post office. Regina dedicated her married life to her young family. She was very connected to her faith. In conjunction with her faith, Regina began working in the Christian Science Reading Room in 1990, serving up to the very end. Regina was a dedicated wife, mom and grandmother and loved giving of her time to family and friends.
Regina is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Jim; two daughters, Rachel (Joshua) King, Green Bay and Robyn (Bryan) Ferrell, Green Bay; five grandchildren, Mackena (Eric) Weber, Beau (Raymond) Collier, Alaina Collier, Grace Collier and Bee Ferrell; one great-grandson, James Peter Weber; one brother, Frank (Jan) Harper III; numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister, Georgia; and her father and mother-in-law, Webster and Ruth Whittaker.
Visitation at Malcore (West) Funeral Home, 1530 West Mason Street, Thursday, August 4, 2022, from 2pm until the time of the funeral. Funeral service 4pm Thursday at the funeral home. Burial in Northland Memorial Park, Rhinelander, WI.
