Richard “Dick” F. Mancheski age 80, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Unity Hospice with family by his side. He was born on November 22, 1940 in Green Bay to the late Bernard and Lucille (Fink) Mancheski. He was united in marriage to Carolyn Wolf on February 5, 1987 in Green Bay.
Richard graduated from Green Bay East High School and went on to proudly serve his country in the U.S. Army. He helped map out all of the Panama Canal area. Upon returning he lived with his sister in California and worked as a truck driver. After a few years went by, Dick decided to move back to Green Bay and work for the City Municipality as a truck driver. He retired in 1997 after 36 years of dedicated work.
Richard loved fishing, traveling with his wife sometimes daily to Shawano Lake. He also enjoyed a good dance and time in the deer stand.
Left to cherish Richard’s memory are his wife of 34 years, Carolyn; children, Nicole Mancheski and Kelly (John) Buchmann; step children, Scott Wegner, Mark Wegner and Becky (Tim) Berger; grandchildren, Olivia and Alexis Buchmann; step grandchildren, Kade, Kyra and Kylen Lubensky; siblings, Jerry (Arlene) Mancheski, Lorraine Wilson, Fred Mancheski and Alice Hershmann. He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held for Dick at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Malcore Funeral Homes-West. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
