Richard M. Sackmann Jr., age 72, passed away the morning of Thursday, September 26, 2024. He was born in Ashland, Wisconsin, on February 6, 1952, to the late Richard M. Sackmann Sr. and Rachael (Rudolph) Sackmann. Richard was the second oldest of 10 children. He graduated from general school in Rochester, WI. Richard followed all the Wisconsin sports teams, including the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and the Badgers. He was an honest, hardworking, simple man, and he enjoyed the lifestyle he lived in Green Bay.

Richard was survived by his mother, Rachael Sackmann; his siblings, Linda (Joe) Lila, Larry (Debbie) Sackmann, Kurt Sackmann, Cathy Korpal, Julie (Robert) Miskoski, Todd (Julie) Sackmann, Roseanne (Todd) Dorshorst, Andrew (Tammy) Sackmann, and Craig Sackmann; and many nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Richard M. Sackmann Sr.; his brother LeRoy Sackmann; his brother-in-law, Dave Korpal; and his sister-in-law, Sharon Sackmann.

The family would like to send a special thank you to all the care takers at Angels Touch Assisted Living Center for taking good care of Richard for the last several years.
