Robert Glen Pecor, affectionately known as Rob by his friends and family, passed away unexpectedly on January 12, 2024, in Los Angeles California. Born in Wisconsin on January 29, 1966, to Monica who preceded Rob in death, and Thomas Pecor. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, achieving the rank of Corporal serving in the Commandant’s Own Drum and Bugle Corps. Rob was stationed in Washington D.C., where he met his future wife, Jennifer Ben. After being honorably discharged from the Marines, Rob had a long and successful career in the tech industry. Rob was the director of quality assurance for a global software applications company where he mentored many individuals in the technology field. In 1989 Rob married Jennifer Ben. Rob was a devoted and loving father, and together with Jennifer, raised a family that would grow to include their children, Glenville David, and Ryan Thomas. Rob was known for his generous spirit, love of the outdoors and legendary barbecues. Rob enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, and experiencing the adventures of life with family and friends. Rob was a lifelong fan of the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Cubs.
Rob is survived by his father, Thomas, loving wife Jennifer, brother Dan, sister Kristine, two sons, Glenville, and Ryan, as well as a son from a previous relationship, Andrew Gadouas and numerous nieces, nephews, and a grandson. Rob’s memory and spirit was warmly remembered by family and friends at a celebration of life in Los Angeles, California. A memorial service will be held in Green Bay, Wisconsin on February 24th. Visitation will be held at Malcore Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St. on Saturday, Feb. 24 9:00 to 10:30 AM. Afterwards, a Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM at the St. John Evangelist Church, 427 St. John St.
